Yup, got tagged by to do the 8 facts meme. This time I might actually have someting interesting to say about myself! (but let's not count on it, lol)

1. I think up a lot of hypothetical situations - stuff that I know isn't ever likely to happen, but what I would do or how I'd react in the event that it did. I suppose it's a form of mental preparation in some ways, even though I know that in a lot of these senarios neither I nor other influences are likely to drive the situation into reality.

2. I also tend to think of paradoxical things quite a lot. Usually this is from pondering on certain phrases and such. An example would be phrases like 'certain doubt' and 'uncertain doubt', both of which can be paradoxically contradictive when you think about them.

3. In case you hadn't noticed, I seem to have developed a tendency to use rather large words while writing. This is starting to creep into my everyday speech as well, though not anywhere near the same level, thankfully.

4. I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about just about anything. I can quite easily dwell for a while on both the mundane and the profound.
Actually, I think too much sometimes.

5. I once had a conversation with my friend that started off talking about Black culture (particularly in America), that went into a discussion about society as a whole, then somehow morphed into religion, then the Higgs Boson (God Particle), the theories of time travel, the theory of relativity, multiple realities and universes, quantum physics, and the philosophies encompassing all of those points.
Yes, this took place in one sitting.

6. When trying to work out the logic for how something works in a story or game context, and then running into something that I feel simply doesn't make any kind of realistic sense, the quickest way to irritate me would be to say "yeah but it's a cartoon [insert animal] and they don't exist either".
This is not a reason, it's an excuse. The fact that it's a cartoon animal or whatever is simply the use of an archetype to infer something about that character and make them easier to relate to in a strange way. It's not an excuse to ignore logic.

7. I need to sleep more. This fact doesn't stop me from staying up until Stupid'o'Clock, though. Still, I sometimes get stuff done at those times.

8. I wanna take up a martial art again since I haven't practiced one in a few years. I'm actually thinking of taking up a few, so it's just a matter of which ones and how much time I can put towards them all. The current options are Jeet Kune Do, Kickboxing, Taekwon Do, Kali/Escrima, and Karate. Partly for the fitness and learning of a martial art, and partly for personal reference for my own projects (White Shadow in particular).

Whew. Now that's done I'll get to tagging.
