I'm back from London Expo! It was great, but I'll have more on that tomorrow when I'm back in Stoke and can get these pics off my phone
So, in the mean time here's some other goings on.
deviantART
First things first. Thanks again to everyone that favs, comments, and watches my work. Looking at my gallery I sometimes feel a little undeserving of all the attention but that may just be me being my biggest critic. Keep the critiques coming and occasionally prod me to do something new or different
Also, what's up with the favs today? All of the counters on new art are stuck on 0 and I know they've been faved. Must be another bug.

Major film: A Night Out / Degree show
Still got some things to do on this film before I can truely call it finished. Granted, I've handed it in already and it's marked as is, but I want to see it complete. I've basically gotta animate one more very small scene and compose a real soundtrack (not the re-edit of the last film that I did last minute... albeit near perfectly).
I may also make a new eyecatch to go at the start (you know, the K-Man Productions thing).
Then I have to export that, put it on a DVD along with the previous film, concept sketches, and some test animations as part of a showreel. I'd make a real showreel if it weren't for the fact that I've practically nothing worthy of putting into one and not enough of it.
Next I'll probably throw together a production diary or something since I simply didn't have time to do so during the semester. Yup, grade's gonna take a minor hit for that, but as I was so busy with the animation itself I passed the point of caring a long time ago
Which reminds me, I've gotta get me some business cards...

Animation Bites '07
Again, this was over a while ago but it's something I wanted to do. For the 2nd year students who'll be running Animation Bites next year, we were gonna write up what is essensially a tome of information containing contact numbers and technical info. I'm gonna try and write up about the editing process and the best ways to receive and export the festival submissions. File formats and stuff like that. It'll just make life easier for them. I'll only do this if I get time though.
I was also thinking of burning a few copies of the festival DVDs for the students and university, providing I can get permission to do so. It'd be nice to have the animation Bites logo printed on them too

Art Trades
As I've mentioned to anybody I've traded with, I'm often totally clueless as to what to ask for my half of a trade. That's why I don't initiate trades myself - I've no problem taking on a trade but I have no idea what to ask for in return. So the chances are that I'll just pick a character and leave the rest to you. Bad habit, I know, but it's also interesting to see what people come up with.
Basically I'm just making you guys aware that I'm a pain in the butt when it comes to trading
Anyways, I'll get back to finishing off trade pics once I get back to my computer, get some inspiration, and get this other stuff out of the way first

Commissions
As is mentioned in the Artness section of this journal, I'll be focusing more on commissions after I get through this set of trades. It's about time I started them and I need cash
I was thinking of starting off with a few quick bust commissions to get me into it, although I may just throw myself straight into it and do full commissions. I'll have a price list up when I'm ready to start them. Don't ask me about them now though, I don't wanna make a waiting list on this just yet as it'll be too much of a mental burden until I get everything else done.

There's also the rest of the art stuff like more original art, reference sheets, overdue drawings for people, finishing off Photoshop sketches, putting together a decent portfolio, pooping my pants over the fact that I've effectively just finish university and have to get a job, considering the possibility of making an artbook, and eating well.
I think I've covered pretty much everything I wanted to talk about for today

Watching: Nothing, but I really should finish GITS:SAC and Samurai Champloo
Playing: nothing right now
Music of the moment:
Daft Punk - Discovery
L'Arc en Ciel - Smile
OCRemix - Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos

Requests: Nope.
Art Trades Status: Closed until these are done.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm going to be focusing more commissions after this set so trades will probably be closed for a while. There's a possiblity of me still taking some, but please don't ask right now. Thanks.
Confirmed trade:
Need to confirm:
Commission Status:
Closed until trades are complete
