Okay, not a very good title.
This was a gift to a friend at school who will be leaving soon.
There's actually a story about how this picture came to be. I've not drawn Sonic the Hedgehod fanart for about 7 years (a long time, I know). I've no idea why I stopped, but I did. Towards the end of last year, though, me and my friends got into one of those weird debates like who would win a fight between Spiderman and Wolverine, and between Sonic and Mario (the answers are Wolverine and Sonic by the way. I don't care how geeky this all sounds so there ). Then we started to talk about the Sonic game for a while and I realised that I'd not drawn a pic of Sonic for so long and I really wanted to now. While we were talking about it, one of my friends told me about the cartoon Sonic X. Of course, I was interested and excited as it's Sonic and Anime I decided to catch up on the history of the series that I'd missed out on and started to really get into it again.
Ah, nostalgia is a strange and powerful thing...
Um, anyway...
So I wanted to draw some fanart. One of my friends wanted a picture of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Dr Eggman, which was strange as that was exactly who I wanted to draw! What's stranger is that when I showed him the finished result he said it was exactly how he wanted it to look!

This took me about three or four goes to get right cos I've not drawn them in such a long time and I've progressed much further since then. I coloured it with colour pencils. Overall, this took 14 hours to complete: 3 hours to draw (some of the time spent researching), 1 hour to ink it, and 10 (yes 10) hours the colour it! A very long time to spend on it, but I think it paid off Despite some of it minor faults - some of which are glaringly obvoius to me, and the slightly off perspective, I think this turned out pretty well ^_^ Let me know what you guys think about it.
