I'VE FINALLY FINISHED THIS!!!

Whoa, this took forever to do. It's been about 3 weeks since I started this and I've been working on it on and off for most of that time. YES, it's yet ANOTHER Sonic fanart. There'll probably be another 2 then I'll stop for a while. *hears people thank God*

So, it's Sally and Bunnie from Sonic SatAM. In the end I went with 's colouring style as most of you wanted it that way :) This is easily my longest CG ever, I've lost track of how many hours I put into it but it must be over 40 at least. I should learn to CG quicker ^^; There would have been more detail in it, but it got to the point where I just wanted to get it finished. The robotic hand was a killer :S

I'm happy with how this came out as a whole. Most of the tones work well together and I think I've managed to get the textures right. Bunnie's top is still too vivid though, despite my efforts to bring the colour down. The background's not great but it works

And before anyone has a go at me about how I've drawn them, I wanted a stylised look to them and I've purposely redesigned Bunnie's cybernetics and Nicole (the computer).

Here're the detail shots.
Sally: eye, nicole, jacket
Bunnie: eye, hand, leg

Media: Pencil (lineart), Photoshop CS (painting, text, and effects)

I spent a lifetime waiting for the chance to chase these devils away, but they always come smiling when you need them the most.

Thanks very much :D

That's really cool, a nice outcome  I love the metal and the clothing, it all looks really detailed and natural. For critique...I'm not really loving the background so much..I know that's something you pointed out before, but I think, like you said, it worked.

Very well done, a good outcome for so many hours! :D

Thanks :) The background was always going to be simple, but I wanted to do something with it. By the time I got to it though I really couldn't be bothered to think of anything good so ended up with that. At least it fits though, so it's not a total loss :)

Yeah it goes with the browns of the characters well. Which is probably better than what I could have done :XD:

Nah, just takes a bit of experimentation to know what fits and what doesn't :) I figured that as most of the colours were shades of brown and orange, a matching background would suit it overall.
I could have painted Knothole village but I really didn't have the motivation to do so. Or the reference if I had =p

it looks great! beautiful coloring, it really looks like you put a lot of work into it....

I think it's better to have a simpler, matching background than a rushed, only half decent background of a scene that you don't really wanna do. So it was a good choice, looking at it now after reading what you've said

Yup, this took a while but it turned out nice in the end. Glad you like it :D

I must go comment on your stuff, I haven't in ages! I'll see if I can do them all before my mum kicks me off this computer :D
